HOW IS ERECTILE DYSFUNCTION DIAGNOSED?
Through a physical examination and health history exam by our Medical doctor, ED can be identified during your first visit. Erectile dysfunction can be a gradual condition. Our physician here at Trinity will diagnose the degree of your dysfunction and discuss your options for treatment.
HORMONE DEFICIENCY TEST
Our lab technician will draw your blood to check your testosterone level and your PSA level in order for the lab to test for any hormonal deficiency or imbalance. Once the labs results are in our medical doctor will evaluate to see if your results are positive for hormone deficiency. Not everyone will be positive and in that case our provider will let you know about other options. If there is an abnormality found, you may proceed to bio-identical hormone replacement therapy.
BIO-IDENTICAL TESTOSTERONE INJECTIONS
Low testosterone is the reason for many of the aggravating symptoms men experience as they age. Our physician can effectively diagnose and treat low testosterone to help restore your quality of life. Recent research shows that preserving healthy levels of testosterone plays a large role in maintaining your overall well-being.
VIAGRA FOR ERECTILE DYSFUNCTION
VIAGRA is one of the medications that is used and works for men with erectile dysfunction (ED) by increasing blood flow to the penis so you can get and keep an erection hard enough for sex. Always remember individual results may vary as everyone is different. It’s been proven to help guys with all degrees of ED. When using Viagra it will usually start to work within 30–60 minutes. Viagra will only work when you are sexually stimulated, which means you can take it up to 4 hours before sexual activity. Your erection should go away after sex, if for some reason you still have an erection lasting more than 4 hours you are to seek immediate medical help to avoid any type of long-term injury.
QUARTERLY CHECKUP
Our physician will require you to come in to the office once every three months for a checkup, at this time during your check up the physician will have your labs redrawn just to make sure that the levels are where they need to be and to make sure that your prescribed amount of medication is working for you.
