Stem Cell Therapy

Stem Cell Therapy

WHAT ARE STEM CELLS?

Stem Cells go where they need to and become and do what your body needs them to do. Cellular regeneration is FDA cleared.  The cells are tested and screened under NIH, FDA, AATB and AABB guidelines. Stem cells are less mature than other cells the body, so the body will not recognize them as foreign and are not rejected, therefore regeneration begins.

WHAT CAN STEM CELLS DO?

  • Stem Cells gravitate to degeneration and build, repair and grow new tissue.
  • They act as an anti-inflammatory.
  • Helps with system immunity.

WHAT STEM CELL TYPE DO YOU USE AND WHERE DOES IT COME FROM?

HUCT-Human umbilical cord by Mesenchymal Cells

HUCT Cells are derived exclusively from the umbilical cord tissue of healthy birthed babies and healthy mothers.  This is the safest and least invasive method of extraction of cells available.

HOW IS STEM CELL GIVEN?

Stem Cell can be given by shot or by IV.

HOW LONG DOES THE TREATMENT TAKE?

It takes about 15 minutes and this includes prep time.

DOES IT HURT?

You may feel some stinging or discomfort, but this will go away.

WHAT ARE THE PRETREATMENT INSTRUCTIONS?

  • Do not take any anti-inflammatory medication 3 days prior.
  • Wear comfortable clothing

WHAT CAN I EXPECT FOLLOWING TREATMENT?

  • A little swelling may occur mainly due to the added volume being injected.
  • There may be some pain or throbbing at the injection site.
  • Slight stiffness at the treated joint.
  • Light activity is recommended for the next week.

HOW MANY TREATMENTS WILL I NEED?

This is dependent on the patient.  Research shows the body responds well with just one treatment, but others have shown a benefit with a second therapy 3-6 months after the previous treatment.   Some people will even have a treatment every six months to reduce inflammation..

HOW FAST WILL I SEE RESULTS?

Each person varies, some see results immediately and some may take 4 to 6 weeks. The results will depend on your body’s response to the cells.  Please remember that this is a regenerative process and there are no promises for results

HOW DO I GET STARTED?

Call our office to setup a free consultation appointment.  At this appointment you will get a consultation and an x-ray of the area of concern.  The doctor will review the x-ray to determine if you are a candidate for treatment.  iIf you are a candidate for treatment  you will be set up for an appointment to come back for the treatment.
